A collection of my favorite pieces of media, including movies, tv shows, anime, books and games. Maybe you can find a new show to watch from my personal favorites.
As of 2026 I have probably watched more than 200 anime all thanks to my dad getting me into Naruto and One Piece. Recently I haven't really been keeping up to date.
I kinda stopped watching anime and I watch more Twitch and YouTube now. But I still read manga and manwha (mostly trashy stuff) and occasionally I'll watch a new anime if something that peaks my interest comes out. The most recent animes I've watched are the first season of Jujitsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family and Blue Lock. I also watched some more recent anime like Go for it Nakamura-kun but most of the newer one's that I've watched I didn't finish, because they were still ongoing or I just watched a few episodes. Here are my favorite anime that I would totally recommend you to watch:
Probably my favorite anime plot-wise, I definitaly need to watch it again because I kinda forgot what happens. I also discovered the band bradio from the opening, love them.
My favorite sports anime. The first two seasons are amazing. I haven't watched the newest seasons tho.
Between Mob Psycho and One Punch Man, this one is definitly my favorite. I don't know why but I haven't watched season 2 & 3 but I will do it in the future because I heard they're also great. Also I haven't realy read the manga but people call ONE's art style ugly and prefer one punch man from the other artist but I honstly love ONE's art style. It's just nice that it looks a bit different from the usual manga styles and if you look at some panels, he can 100% draw. I also really love the art style from Ping Pong the Animation but I haven't watch it yet.
Time travel with a microwave. The show is so good but you have to push through the first few episodes.
It's an awesome show. The show made me discover aimer's music. She's one of my favorie artists.
Probaly my favorite Ghibli movie. It switches between this and Spirited Away. I watched it a long time ago and then kind of forgot it existed. But the movie stayed with me as some distant memories that I couldn't decipher. When I finaly found it again I realised that the images that would sometimes pop up in my brain was the Forest Spirit in Princess Mononoke. I was so happy when I found it again.
I watched this movie so many times. I remember as a child I was watching this but I couldn't finish the movie because my parents send me to bed and I think this happened multiple times. This makes it very nostalgic to me and the first time I've watched it fully, was awesome.
Great movie, a bit depressing.
Just a feel good movie with stunnig animation.
I'm a hoe for a good time travel plot.
It's a one shot. Read it.
This one I wouldn't recommend for everyone just like the Handmaiden it is disturbing but a great story. It has the first fully fleshed out trans character that I've seen in a manga.
Fujimoto three-peat. It's the first one of his manga I've read and I loved it. But I'm a fraud I haven't caught up in a while and also haven't watched the movie yet.
Maybe not the greatest manga ever but I love it. The ending is also better than in the anime.
The manga is much better than the anime and I love the art style. However I didn't like the ending and it prevented me from reading Tokyo Ghoul:re.
Green Yuri. Very wholesome read but I'm not caught up anymore. I heared it gets worse. But purley from an art perspective the paneling is so beautiful. I also haven't read a lot of yuri so if you got any recs write it in the guest book.
Gay and Horror. So good. Haven't caught up in a while. I need to watch the anime.
My favorite disney movie. I usally can't stand musicals but the songs in this one are so catchy.
I watched it because it was nominated for an oscar. It's the best oscar movie that I've watched (excluding animated movies). Great Plot. I need to watch more korean movies. If you got any recomandations write it in the guestbook. I've watched a lot of kdramas but not movies.
Watch it if you want to see a really disturbing movie but not in horror kind of sense. The problem was that I went into watching the Handmaiden knowing nothing. I was in a mood to watch a movie and went on this website to recommend me a random movie that was on netflix and it recommend it to me. I really wasn't expecting much. I think not knowing it's a crazy movie made it even more disturbing for me. Still it's a great movie.
Nick's my favorite character.
My comfort show.
Pure Nostalgia. The first show I watched in English. I hate dubs now. Anime has also made me this way. I know this is stupid but at least I'm self aware. After watching the original language it is so obvious that it's not sychronized. I guess it doesn't matter with anime if the dub is good but I prefer watching it in Japanese. However I have seen some German dub Haikyuu clips and thought it was pretty funny.
The best show ever. I watched it so many times and it still holds up. This is not just nostalgia speaking.
I watched it after it was all finished. The ending didn't piss me off as much as other people but it's probly becuause I had lower expectation because I knew people were mad. My Dad has the books but never watched the show so I tried to read them. But I gave up after the first few pages. I think I don't have the patience to read something with so many characters that I don't know.
I used to be a huge book worm in my teens but now I only read manga and manhwa. Don't take my favorite books as good recomandations. I haven't reread them since my teens so I don't know if they would still hold up. Surprisingly enough I never got into fan fiction.
I got so hyped when the movie came out a few years after I read the books. But it sucked. The people that didn't read the book enjoyed it tho and after rewatching it a few years later I think it's good. I just had really high expectations.
This series got me back into reading. Would I recommend it? I don't know. I see people really dislike Sarah J. Maas other series and see her stuff as more trashy but I enjoyed it.
I thinks this was my favorite series but it got convoluted at some point. I never watched the tv show.
Great book series. Made me laugh so much. The first book that I read in English was the Heroes of Olympus and I remember I was having so much trouble but after finishing it I got so much better at reading books in English.
Apparently there's no english translation of this book. I read it in german with the title "Die Drachenkämpferin". The author Licia Troisi has written multiple series which I've read. They're my favorite high fantasy books.
I love riding my horses. Tears of the Kingdom is good too but I prefer Breath of the Wild. I love the little outfits you can wear. Also this game made me discover a very cool animation channel on YouTube. Shar is an animator and she made some super cute Zelink animations.
Peak game. I recently got into watching mincraft speedrunning. I don't speedrun myself (I'm bad) but I love watching the Ranked play-offs. Feinberg is my goat. I'm also rooting for a lot of other people like Infume, Hax and Aquacore. Also I'm so glad Skycrab finaly got the world record. He deserved it after that fucking enderman death.
My first Zelda game. The sound track is so fucking good.

Great party games.
